Life has found a way. Director Juan Antonio Bayona has shared the first promotional image for Jurassic World 2 today to his official Twitter account! The image is of a number of worn/scuffed Jurassic World hard hats stacked in a pile. The caption associated with the post reads "Getting ready for the journey".

The plot for Jurassic World 2 has yet to be officially announced, but is expected to involve some form of a rescue mission, or attempt at preserving the Dinosaur populations which currently inhabit Isla Nublar.
It has also been confirmed that Jurassic World 2 will in fact introduce us to even more, new Dinosaur species not featured in previous installments.
Jurassic World 2 currently stars Christ Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Daniella Pineda, Justice Smith, Toby Jones, Rafe Spall, with a potential return of BD Wong as Dr. Wu and Michael Giacchino composing the film's score. Jurassic World actors Jake Johnson and Omar Sy have alluded to the fact that neither of them will be returning for the sequel.
Directed by Juan Antonio Bayona and produced by Colin Trevorrow as well as Steven Spielberg, Jurassic World 2 begins filming this March and will arrive in theaters on Jun 22nd, 2018!

Jurassic World Rebirth sequel
The sequel to Rebirth is in development with filming expected to commence by the Fall of 2026. With Gareth Edwards expected to return to helm the sequel and lead star Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as well, the next Jurassic entry will continue the story from where Rebirth left off.
