As I'm sure most of you know, since it was posted here, Bryce Dallas Howard and David Oyelowo were Universal's frontrunners to star in JP4/JW. Apparently, though, Garrett Hedlund was a third actor chosen for a major role, and these three are still Universal's top picks for when casting begins.

I'm sure it'll be mostly new characters, since it wouldn't make sense to have more than one or two old characters in a movie that's being made over 10 years after the last. John Krasinski is rumored, too, but that's probably fake.
