Just read it. Very interesting article. It could prove Torvo was maybe as long as Sue, but I still think not as heavy ;)

I think Torvo is about 7 tons instead of a good 9. But still, that means a bigger skull. I think it bites with about 5 tons of force. Tarbo and Torvo both have kinda thin skulls, and Torvo, being a Megalosaur, has a pretty bad bite. I bet that they could do about the same amount of damage.

Yay! I always thought Torvo could get up to around 35-40ft this at least gives me some support Torvosaurus is slowly becoming one of my favorite dinos.

Torvosaurus is already one of my favourite dinos, so I'm pretty happy about that. :D

The skull on this paper isn't 1,58 m. Try to measured it - it's "just" 1,2 m!

They're right Delta, the skull seems to be most likely in the 120-130cm range

but anyway torvosaurus is my favorite jurassic dinosaurs

Torvosaurus was, in my book, no bigger than 36 ft in length and 4 tons in weight. A massive predator and one of the largest from the Jurassic, but not T-rex sized. Most estimates put it(including the European species) at no more than 36 ft as well.
