Yeah, Sarcosuchus is more crocodilian in design while Deinosuchus was more like an alligator.

Now, my estimates are a little smaller than yours...
Sarcosuchus- 33-43 ft(10-13 meters) long and 5-7.5 tons
Deinosuchus- 30-40 ft(9-12 meters) long and 4.5-6.5 tons
But still, we both agree that Sarcosuchus was larger. Now, what is this a comparison of exactly?

well my comparison is what niches they have if you look at the time period and there size it show that these where the top predators of there place and time also how two different species have the same adaption even thought they are million years apart and on two different continents.

Ok. I don't know if I'd consider them the top predators, but they're up there. You're right, both Sarcosuchus and Deinosuchus were very similar in size and niche. I actually wrote a fight between Sarcosuchus and Spinosaurus, and another about Tyrannosaurus rex and Deinosuchus.

OK then but I would say they would be the top predators of the water ways. But if I where to compare deinosuchus and the tyrannosauride to todays crocodiles and lions when they are on the beach witch neither one controls but they always fight over

Accordig to the later estimates, Deinosuchus was around to 7-10 m, same for Sarcosuchus. Both are about to the same size.

i know
they where both about the same size.
the reason why i put some extra feet on it is because crocodiles and any other reptile grows till it dies it decrease in growth but it still grows
