Bad news for the Balaur bondoc

I discovered this on Deviantart. It now seems, after recent studies, that my beloved Balaur was actually no more than a primitive Avialan, and not a Dromaeosaur like thought before:

Wel, those are very bad news for me, as it takes away some awesomeness from this dinosaur. But, what about you? What do you think?

Well, let's not get carried away. It may be a raptor. I need to see a scientific article/paper about it first. Deviant Art is not what I'd consider the most reliable source

I agree with Rex Fan. For example, Horror Mouth, and the Snake Eater.

Very good examples. Sometimes they're right though. Like the new abelisaur. That's why I'll consider what's said, but I need some more evidence.

Well, it's more a worry. And it's a friend that found that, and I trust him somehow.

Of course it's not sure thing, but... I hope it's not at all.

i think it's outside what we consider normal for a raptor because it experienced a form of island dwarfism? correct me if i'm wrong on that but i just read it

Nature doesn't deceive us; it is we who deceive ourselves.
