Classics series

Hi fellow memebers! So, as you may have guessed, I am doing a classics fight series! My regular one will still be on, just when I get a chance. The name of my rgular series is Primal Wars, (PW) and my classics series will be called just that (CS). So just look at the title to see which is which. The different series' will be interchanging, sometimes regular and sometimes classics just depends. So, this is going to be the roster for the fights, not necessarily in this order.
Allosaurus vs Stegosaurus
Allosaurus vs Ceratosaurus
Allosaurus vs Torvosaurus
Ceratosaurus vs Stegosaurus
Tyrannosaurus rex vs Triceratops
Tyrannosaurus rex vs Ankylosaurus
Tyrannosaurus rex vs Spinosaurus (whoever wins wins just leave it alone)
Velociraptor vs Protoceratops
Giganotosaurus vs Argentinosaurus (yes I know they probably didn't live together)
T. rex vs Raptor
Any other ideas or requests? The only rule is it has to be classic fights. Thanks!

you could do Mapusaurus! it lived with Argentinosaurus.. just a thought
Tarbosaurus vs Therizinosaurus?

I like it! And I thought about it but Mapusaurus vs Argentinosaurus isn't really a classics fight. Maybe I could say it was a substitiute for Giga :) And thanks Mr.happy!

We are now adding Utahraptor vs Astrodon, Tarbosaurus vs Therizinosaurus and the final fight until later notice will be... T. rex vs Alamosaurus

But I am still taking requests. Also, Actually the last fight will be Spino vs Rex. The first fight should be up tonight- T. rex vs Triceratops.

Sounds good. Why not Giga vs Mapusaurus (I swear, same time, same place).
Jack of all trades. Master of none

they did. Giga had been around longer then and probably went extinct in part due to mapu...just my idea though

I used the 5 ton estimate for Mapusaurus in DD9097MS. Ove seen estimates ranging from 3-8 tons.

That's a good one. Chalk that one up for the fights! Wouldn't that mean Giga and Argentinosaurus lived in the same time as well

yes, their bones have been found in close proximity to each other.
Argentina and brazil were huge predator hot spots, along with africa. Oh, Spinosaurus vs Carcharodontosaurus?

Forgot about that one! Was there any large predator that lived with T. rex? How about Siats?

There were not any large predators that lived with Rex, and I'm doing Spino vs Carchar.

Alright, I'll let you get that one. And Siats was disappearing as Rex was appearing wasn't it?

It, like Acrocanthosaurus, was dying out as the Tyrannosaurs like Daspletosaurus, Gorgosaurus, and Albertosaurus were appearing, yes.

Tyrannosaurs outcompeted everything else, they got diverse and immense over the years until the apex( Tyrannosaurus) came around. Siats and Acro- carcharodtontosaurs- were outcompeted by lythronax daspletosaurus and Gorgosaurus.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Allosaurus Vs. Stegosaurus. They all sound great!

Thanks! And welcome to the forum!

@Carnosaur and Mr. Happy, That's what I thought. Tyrannosaurus and Siats might have overlapped. Do you think that T. rex vs charcarodontosaurid would count as a classic?

Welcome to the forum, TheDinosaurMan
I think that T.Rex vs Acrocanthosaurus/Siats would be quite one-sided, so how about Daspletosaurus/Lythronax vs Acrocanthosaurus/Siats, that way it's a lot more even.

Tyrannosaurus itself did not live alongside Siats or Acrocanthosaurus(I actually did a Rex vs Acro fight a while ago). Smaller tyrannosaurs, smaller being a relative term, probably did. However, those smaller tyrannosaurs were still a good bit smaller than Siats or Acrocanthosaurus. Siats was nearly 40 feet long as an adult while Daspletosaurus(the biggest tyrannosaur that may have lived alongside it) was 33-35 feet long at the most.
Acrocanthosaurus- 110-135 million years ago
Siats- 90-100 million years ago
Daspletosaurus, Lythronax, Gorgosaurus, Albertosaurus, etc- 75-85(give or take) million years ago
Tyrannosaurus- 65-70 million years ago
But those Tyrannosaurs had a slight advantage when it comes to weaponry and intelligence.

Rex Fan: That's what I thought and UCMP that is true. How about Rex vs Giga. Would you consider that a classics fight? More equal, even though Rex has an advantage

Rex vs Giga seems pretty good to me, sounds like a very even fight, but it doesn't feel like a classic fight to me, it seems more like something that would fit into a general dinosaur battle series.
