While we anticipate the upcoming third Jurassic World sequel, once again to be directed by Colin Trevorrow, we have news from the director himself insinuating that the Jurassic franchise will most likely continue on after Jurassic World 3! This is exciting news because originally, Jurassic World 3 was going to conclude the new Jurassic World trilogy - essentially ending this particular story arc. Additional films could be set in the same Jurassic universe, separate to the events of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World - or it could keep the story going. Either way, with so much hype fueling the tentpole Universal property, it's unlikely we'll see the end of Jurassic films with Jurassic World 3.
Speaking to Variety, Trevorrow
I’m kind of a one movie at a time kind of guy, so my eyes are on this one. And it’s a celebration of everything that has existed in the franchise up until now.

Jurassic World Rebirth sequel
The sequel to Rebirth is in development with filming expected to commence by the Fall of 2026. With Gareth Edwards expected to return to helm the sequel and lead star Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as well, the next Jurassic entry will continue the story from where Rebirth left off.
