Jurassic World Dominion: Jeff Goldblum talks filming, less CGI, new menacing Dinosaur and more!

Jurassic Park actor Jeff Goldblum, who played a small part in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom and who is returning to reprise his role as Dr. Ian Malcolm in the next movie, Jurassic World Dominion recently sat down with Insider for a phone interview where he discussed a variety of topics including his time on the set of Dominion which is currently filming in Malta. During the part of the interview where Jurassic World Dominion was discussed, Goldblum shared a number of exciting facts which we're very excited about!

First off, he teased a lot less CGI Dinosaurs, which has been previously mentioned by director Colin Trevorrow - so we're glad to hear Goldblum confirming this fact!

There are a lot of animatronic things going on, so there is going to be less CGI I think, and lots of things that we can act with and see with our own eyes. We saw some amazing things.

Next, he discussed his scenes shared with other Jurassic Park cast mates Sam Neill and Laura Dern, to which he revealed:

We were acting in a life and death situation. We think it might be the last moments of our lives and we’re all bonding with each other in an emotional and somewhat hilarious way.

Interestingly, the above quote suggests Dominion may see the end of our franchise icons... we certainly hope not.

Finally Goldblum also makes mention of a specific scene where Neill, Dern and himself are trapped in a small space, fearing for their lives against a Dinosaur we've never seen before:

You’ll see — it’s a mystery you’ll solve when you see [the movie.] The three of us were in a tiny little space and we were being menaced by — I can’t even tell you — a surprising faction of prehistoric creatures that you’ve never seen before.

Goldblum definitely teased a fair amount during this interview and it's got us even more hyped up for Jurassic World Dominion! What do you think of Jeff's words? Are you concerned Dominion may be a send off for our beloved JP Paleontologists? What new Dinosaur do you think we'll see? Sound off your theories in the comments section below!
