Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom director Juan Antonio Bayona has promised more blood, scares and less reliance on CGI Dinosaurs in the upcoming Jurassic World sequel, according to a recent post to Instagram by user ke2v1in who shared a photo from when he met with Bayona:
"Met Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom director J.A. Bayona last night. I've been assured there'll be more blood, scares & less reliance on CGI dinos... CAN'T WAIT"

One of the major complaints Jurassic World suffered from was its apparent emphasis on CGI Dinosaurs over the classic practical effects approach which made the first three Jurassic Park films so aesthetically pleasing and realistic looking. It's reassuring to hear that Fallen Kingdom will bring the franchise back to basics and introduce fresh scares, more blood and more practical Dinosaur effects.
Thanks to Chris Pugh for the heads up!
