Colin Trevorrow's Jurassic World has made its way onto USA Today's list of highest anticipated films to see this year! Along with the feature comes a small plot synopsis for the film as well as a new quote from director Colin Trevorrow!
With its visitor base declining, the island theme park laden with dinosaurs gets a refresh and a hybrid monster is created for an economic boost — with unforeseen and very unfortunate consequences.
The original Jurassic Park in 1993 featured themes of humans playing God, and the fourth movie in the franchise deals with the downside of that as well as excess. "With miracles of science such as dinos, you don't have to up the 'wow' factor,'' says Trevorrow. "This movie kind of exists to at least slap the characters around a bit and say, 'No, look around you, this is incredible.' " - USA Today

Jurassic World Rebirth sequel
The sequel to Rebirth is in development with filming expected to commence by the Fall of 2026. With Gareth Edwards expected to return to helm the sequel and lead star Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as well, the next Jurassic entry will continue the story from where Rebirth left off.
