Filming on Gareth Edwards' Jurassic World: Rebirth has officially wrapped as of September 28th and 4:00 am London time according to our friends at Reel News Hawaii! The new Jurassic World film takes place 5 years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion after the planet’s ecology has proven largely inhospitable to dinosaurs. The official plot synopsis centers on the attempt to exploit DNA from the most colossal Dinosaurs in an attempt to produce pharmaceutical products with miraculous life-saving benefits for humankind.

Jurassic World: Rebirth will land in theaters on Wednesday, July 2nd, 2025 and is led by Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali. An official trailer has not yet been released.

Jurassic World Rebirth sequel
The sequel to Rebirth is in development with filming expected to commence by the Fall of 2026. With Gareth Edwards expected to return to helm the sequel and lead star Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as well, the next Jurassic entry will continue the story from where Rebirth left off.
