After nearly fourth months of filming, director Colin Trevorrow has once again turned to the social platform for the stars, Twitter, to announce that filming on Jurassic World has finally been completed. Filming for the eagerly anticipated sequel to the original trilogy started by director Steven Spielberg, began on April 14th in Kauai, Hawaii, before moving to New Orleans on June 30th.

The movie starring Guardians of the Galaxy's Chris Pratt, Terminator Salvations Bryce Dallas Howard and Iron Man 3's Ty Simpkins, will return to the Isla Nublar, where billionaire John Hammonds dream of an island theme park with living Dinosaur attractions has finally become reality, under the Patel Corporation. The gates to Jurassic World open June 12th, 2015.

Jurassic World Rebirth sequel
The sequel to Rebirth is in development with filming expected to commence by the Fall of 2026. With Gareth Edwards expected to return to helm the sequel and lead star Scarlett Johansson reprising her role as well, the next Jurassic entry will continue the story from where Rebirth left off.
