Michael Giacchino will be composing the score for Juan Antonio Bayona's Jurassic World sequel! Announced during a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, it was revealed Giacchino would be lending his talent to Jurassic World 2, among other upcoming high profile sequels.
Michael Giacchino also composed the score for Gareth Edwards' Star Wars spin-off, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which is now playing in theaters.
Giacchino has proven time and time again that he is more than capable of delivering both fresh and nostalgic music for iconic properties. Jurassic Park has one of the most recognizable themes of any film and so, it seems quite fitting that Giacchino would be given the responsibility of maintaining that sound for Jurassic World 2.
Thanks to Matt for the heads up!
